QIKFIX connects customers with independent service providers known as Fixers. QIKFIX does not directly provide repair, trade, construction or handyman services.
Fixers are independent contractors. They are not employees, agents or representatives of QIKFIX and are responsible for how they perform accepted jobs.
QIKFIX is not liable for job quality, incomplete work, property damage, personal injury, incorrect installation, delays, loss or disputes arising from work carried out by a Fixer.
Where a customer supplies materials, the customer is responsible for ensuring the materials are correct, safe, compatible and available before the Fixer arrives.
Fixers are responsible for holding any licence, insurance, approval or qualification required for the work they accept. Customers must provide safe access to the job site.
QIKFIX may reject or remove jobs involving high-risk, structural, electrical, plumbing, gas, asbestos, roofing or legally restricted work unless suitable licensed professionals are engaged.
QIKFIX may help process bookings or payments, but the service agreement is between the customer and the Fixer. QIKFIX may assist with dispute review but is not required to resolve every dispute.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QIKFIX is not liable for indirect loss, lost income, lost opportunity or damages beyond the platform fee paid for the booking.
QIKFIX may suspend, remove or refuse customers, Fixers or bookings where safety, trust, legality, payment behaviour or platform integrity is at risk.
